The UGDSB is looking for a dedicated individual to fill a 1.0 FTE position for the upcoming school year. As a Long Term Occasional Teacher, you will provide continuous high-quality teaching during the absence of the regular instructor. Primary, junior, and intermediate qualifications are essential, while music experience is considered an asset.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging lessons in line with Ontario education standards

• Support student achievement and well-being initiatives

• Collaborate with staff to create inclusive learning environments

• Ensure effective classroom management and continuous education

• Adapt lessons for diverse learning styles and needs

Requirements:

• Qualifications in Primary, Junior, or Intermediate education

• Music background is an asset

• Ability to support students with diverse backgrounds

• Enrollment begins September 2, 2026, until June 30, 2027
