As a Long-Term Occasional Teacher at UGDSB, you will be responsible for providing consistent educational support during a regular teacher's absence.

Your role contributes significantly to student engagement and educational outcomes, aligned with the Ministry of Education's high standards. You'll foster a welcoming learning environment and address the unique needs of each student.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide effective teaching during the regular teacher's absence

• Enhance student well-being through educational support

• Customize lesson plans to meet diverse learning needs

• Follow Ontario education guidelines in instruction

• Communicate progress with school leadership and families

Requirements:

• FSL Part 1 certification required

• Prior teaching experience preferred

• At least two professional references needed

• Must complete a Vulnerable Sector Check
