Position: SART*1060 Graduate Teaching Assistant
Become a Graduate Teaching Assistant for SART
* 1060 at the University of Guelph in Fall 2026. Play a key role in conducting labs, preparing materials, and giving tours.

As a GSA, you will offer support to the Foundations Coordinator (3D) and will engage with students in laboratory settings. Responsibilities include preparing class materials, conducting seminars, grading assignments, and invigilating exams. Familiarity with digital platforms like Zoom and Teams is beneficial for effective communication.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct readings and labs for course engagement

• Prepare class materials including AV presentations

• Participate in foundational training and meetings

• Invigilate exams and manage grading tasks

• Provide facility tours for guests and students

Requirements:

• Graduate-level education in Studio Art required

• Registration in MFA Studio Art program is preferred

• Ability to work on campus effectively

• Strong communication and a collaborative approach

• Dedication to diversity and inclusion in the academic context
