Make a meaningful impact at the Upper Grand District School Board as a Long Term Occasional Teacher for Science at John F Ross CVI. Provide high-quality education in a supportive environment for student success.
This role supports the academic journey of students while the regular teacher is absent. The Long Term Occasional Teacher will focus on Intermediate Science and be responsible for delivering lessons in accordance with Ontario Ministry of Education standards. Your contributions will enhance student achievement and well-being, ensuring a smooth educational experience.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver engaging Intermediate Science lessons
• Maintain continuity in the classroom during teacher absence
• Support student achievement aligned with Board Policies
• Collaborate with staff to enhance the learning environment
• Report to the Principal on student progress
Requirements:
• Valid teaching certification in Ontario
• Specialization in Intermediate Science
• Commitment to student well-being and success
• Ability to provide high-quality education
• Vulnerable Sector Check prior to employment
