The UGDSB invites applications for temporary Educational Assistant positions suitable for both full-time and part-time schedules. You'll be instrumental in addressing the unique learning needs of students and assisting educators in creating supportive learning spaces. This role requires a compassionate approach and the ability to work with students in physical and emotional needs, ensuring their safety and success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized support for students' diverse needs

• Assist with lifting, toileting, and physical positioning

• Work collaboratively with classroom teachers and parents

• Foster a positive learning atmosphere for students

• Complete additional duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Preferred qualifications include an Educational Assistant Diploma

• Certification in Behaviour Management Systems required

• Recent experience with students having special needs

• Training in Autism Spectrum Disorder beneficial

• Capability to perform physical tasks involved in this role
