The UGDSB is looking for a skilled and dynamic individual for a Long Term Occasional Music teaching assignment. This 1-section position requires an intermediate music qualification and involves covering for the regular teacher’s absence. Your contributions will ensure high-quality education during this vital period for students.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver engaging music lessons to secondary students
• Support student achievement per Ontario Ministry of Education standards
• Maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment
• Collaborate with faculty and staff for student success
• Report to the Principal regarding student progress
Requirements:
• Intermediate Music qualification is required
• Teaching experience in music education preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to student well-being and achievement
• Available from November 24, 2026, to February 2, 2027
