The Upper Grand District School Board seeks an elementary teaching team member for a 1.0 FTE Long Term Occasional assignment. Reporting to the assigned school principal, you will provide continuous, high-quality education during the regular teacher’s temporary absence. Your work follows Ontario Ministry of Education standards and Board Policies.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide continuous, high-quality education during temporary teacher absence
- Support student achievement throughout the assignment
- Support student well-being in the assigned elementary school
- Follow Ontario Ministry of Education standards
- Follow Upper Grand District School Board policies
- Special Education Part 1 qualification
- Junior qualification
- Intermediate qualification
- Availability for a 1.0 FTE assignment
- Vulnerable Sector Check before employment commencement, if externally hired
