* 3190*DE as a Teaching Assistant with grading and student consultation during Winter 2027. The assignment is at the University of Guelph.
This GTA, Unit 1 appointment supports Administration and Leadership in Early Childhood Education and Care. The course examines policies, human and financial resources, communication, quality assurance, ethics, and professional development. Assignments run January 7 to May 7, 2027.
Key Responsibilities:- Grade written work accurately and consistently within two weeks
- Provide constructive feedback aligned with marking requirements
- Respond promptly and professionally to student queries
- Invigilate the course's undergraduate final examination
- Attend meetings, office hours, and student consultations
- Current master's or doctoral enrolment in a related program
- Family Relations and Human Development enrolment preferred
- Substantive knowledge of the course content
- Availability throughout the assignment and final exam period
- Eligibility to work in Canada at the University of Guelph
