Support FRHD
* 4350 as a Teaching Assistant in an in-person Winter 2027 practicum, using grading and student communication skills. Availability through May 7 is required.
The University of Guelph seeks a graduate Teaching Assistant for Family Relations and Applied Nutrition. This assignment supports a supervised health or social service placement course integrating theory and professional skills. Duties include preparation, consultation, grading, invigilation, and online discussion support.
Key Responsibilities:- Grade written work accurately and consistently within two weeks
- Provide constructive feedback using marking rubrics or schemes
- Respond professionally to instructor and student queries
- Monitor and moderate scheduled online course discussions
- Invigilate the undergraduate final examination
- Current master's or doctoral enrollment in a related field
- Interpersonal and communication skills
- Substantive knowledge of course content
- Practical experience related to course content preferred
- Availability throughout the assignment and final exam period
