Support ACCT
* 1220 Introductory Financial Accounting as an in-person Teaching Assistant, using grading and student consultation skills at the University of Guelph.
This GTA, Unit 1 assignment is for a registered Winter 2027 University of Guelph graduate student. The Management academic unit offers eight 0.5 work assignments, each estimated at 70 hours. Responsibilities support course delivery through preparation, seminars, labs, meetings, and assessment duties.
Key Responsibilities:- Complete orientation and training for the teaching assignment
- Hold office hours and consult with students
- Conduct assigned labs and seminars in person
- Grade coursework and invigilate examinations
- Attend meetings and complete preparation duties
- Be registered as a Winter 2027 University of Guelph graduate student
- Pass ACCT
* 3330 before the assignment - Meet required days, deadlines, and accuracy standards
- Previous Teaching Assistant experience is preferred
- ACCT
1220 or ACCT
* 3330 grades above 80 percent preferred
