Wind Turbine Technician II - Renewable Energy Company (Remote Site - Mount Forest, Ontario)

A successful Wind Turbine Technician II is highly skilled in electrical technician work and able to perform troubleshooting, repair and maintenance of wind turbines at an Advanced level. The Wind Turbine Technician II will be someone who is able to follow defined schedules and procedures including safety protocol, turbine service, installation processes, and other verbal and written instruction and make initial diagnosis of turbine issues.

The Technician II is regarded as an “advanced-level” team member on the technician crew and will provide mentorship to entry and intermediate level technicians. A successful Wind Turbine Technician II candidate would have the ability to support the preventive and corrective maintenance program while applying best practices for meeting environmental health and safety standards. This position requires flexibility in meeting multiple job demands and the requirement to assist other team members on-site as and when needed.

The ideal candidate will have relevant work experience in the electrical technical field, combined with good interpersonal/teamwork, organizational, and communication skills, both verbally and in writing. Wind Turbine Technician II - Renewable Energy Company (Remote Site - Mount Forest, Ontario)

Permanent Full-Time Position
Full-Time Long-Term Employee is required to be living in a location that is within less than an hour driving distance from and to the remote work site.
Reporting to:
Site Manager/Supervisor
Compensation: $30.00 per hour + benefits

THIS ROLE IS LOCATED EST ONTARIO AND PROVIDES SERVICE IN DUNDALK, SHELBURNE, ORANGEVILLE AND ARTHUR AREAS.
With minimal supervision from higher level technical and/or management staff, the Turbine Technician II utilizes skills and training to perform troubleshooting, repair and maintenance of wind turbines at an Advanced level. The Technician II will follow defined schedules and procedures including safety protocol, turbine service, installation processes, and other verbal and written instruction and make initial diagnosis of turbine issues.
