Assistant, Product Costing

Reporting to the Manufacturing Accounting Manager, the Product Costing Assistant will support the broader team enabling them to focus on more complex cost process and analysis. This role will utilize documents provided by Engineering to review and upload design information into the engineering system to create a bill of materials for product of lesser complexity, and coordinate with Supply Chain and Production Control to provide the necessary information needed to purchase the required materials and schedule production.

• Support more experienced team members with several tasks to allow them to focus on more complex cost process and analysis.
• Use the engineering system to upload the engineering design information into the operating system, focusing on manufacturing plants with less product design complexity.
• Use the engineering system to upload design changes communicated through internal documentation.
• Ensure Engineering design data is correctly uploaded/transferred to the operating system.

• Post Secondary College Diploma in Accounting/Finance, Business Administration, or Engineering Technology or equivalent in experience.
• Prior experience in Product Costing or a similar role; manufacturing sector an asset.
• Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks at once.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, particularly in collaborating with internal teams.
• Ability to identify and resolve issues that may arise during data entry.
• Familiarity with ERP systems.
• Insight into manufacturing processes and how different components come together to create a final product.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Microsoft Certified:
  Dynamics 365 (Preferred).
• Be able to travel within and outside Canada as needed.

We provide market‑competitive compensation that reflects performance, skills, and current market conditions. For this role, the base salary range is $45,632.63 to $68,448.95, with final offers determined by experience, qualifications, and role complexity. This position includes a comprehensive benefits package and is eligible for performance‑based incentives.
