Take on the role of Fluvial Processes Specialist and leverage your expertise in hydrology and geomorphology within a collaborative team. Drive sustainable outcomes through innovative river systems assessments and restoration projects.
This full-time position seeks a dedicated individual with knowledge in open-channel hydraulics and a hands-on approach to fieldwork. Collaborating with experts in various disciplines, you will focus on complex assessments and contribute to impactful sustainability efforts throughout Southern Ontario.
Key Responsibilities:
• Gather and evaluate geomorphological and hydrology data
• Conduct field assessments in various environments
• Participate in hydraulic modeling for channel analysis
• Prepare detailed technical reports to support initiatives
• Work alongside experienced team members for skill growth
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in geoscience or engineering discipline
• Two years of experience in fluvial geomorphology
• Proficiency in GIS software and survey techniques
• Eligible for G.I.T. or E.I.T. registration
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities
Use your analytical skills to influence river systems positively and participate in multidisciplinary environmental projects.
