In this staff position, you will utilize your academic background while actively participating in hydrologic modeling, regulatory compliance, and engineering design. The role also includes fieldwork and preparation of technical reports, providing a comprehensive foundation for your consulting career. Collaborate closely with industry-recognized professionals to solve complex environmental challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
• Construct hydrologic models for watershed and floodplain studies
• Execute hydraulic analyses for diverse engineering projects
• Develop engineering calculations and data analysis
• Draft technical reports for communicating key findings
• Conduct fieldwork with site investigations and monitoring
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in civil or environmental engineering
• Eligible to practice as a professional engineer in Ontario
• Internship experience in civil or environmental consulting preferred
• Proficient in engineering software such as SWMM, Hec-RAS preferred
• Valid driver’s license for business-related travel
