Magna Exteriors is looking for a knowledgeable Controls Technologist to enhance its innovative automotive team. You will engage in PLC programming, investigate automation solutions, and contribute to system upgrades. Experience in Rockwell Automation and electrical standards will be essential for success in this position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain PLC programming and HMI interfaces
• Design electrical layouts and schematics accurately
• Manage the organization and improvement of databases
• Ensure proper maintenance of network systems
• Train skilled trades on newly implemented systems
Requirements:
• Completion of technologist program or relevant degree
• Provincial Electricians Ticket (309A or 442-A) mandatory
• At least 5 years of experience in PLC systems
• Proficient in Visual Basic, SQL, and Factory Talk View
• Proven problem-solving abilities and communication skills
