Line Support Mechanical Design Engineer

Join Skyjack as a Mechanical Design Engineer specializing in line support in Guelph, Ontario. This full-time position focuses on designing for manufacturing efficiency and product improvement.

You will coordinate product design changes and troubleshoot BOM issues while collaborating with manufacturing teams to enhance assembly processes. Key Responsibilities:

• Design and produce production-ready drawings and calculations

• Analyze and improve existing product designs for assembly

• Develop cost-effective solutions to design challenges

• Document all aspects of projects comprehensively

• Provide mentorship to junior design engineers

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical engineering required

• At least 2 years in a design role within heavy equipment

• Proficient in GD&T and design considerations

• Experience with Solid Works and FEA is advantageous

• Strong communication and team collaboration skills
