Take charge of energy management as an Energy Project Lead with Magna. This role focuses on sustainability, project management, and optimizing automotive technologies in Ontario.
With a focus on energy efficiency, you'll lead projects that minimize energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions 're seeking a licensed engineer with a degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and a minimum of three years in the automotive manufacturing sector. You will drive continuous improvement initiatives and spearhead energy management strategies as part of our global team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement sustainability projects to achieve carbon neutrality
• Monitor energy usage and maintain an energy tracking system
• Lead cross-functional teams to drive improvements
• Seek incentives for energy efficiency and renewable projects
• Utilize Six Sigma and PDCA methodologies for waste reduction
Requirements:
• Licensure as a professional engineer in Ontario or ability to obtain
• Minimum three years of experience in project management
• Familiarity with HVAC and building automation systems
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Communication and organizational skills
