Join Linamar as an Engineer focused on Model Based Simulation, driving improvements in manufacturing processes. Your expertise will be crucial in collaborating with teams to enhance production capabilities.
As an Intermediate Engineer, you will engage in the design of complex manufacturing processes and offer support in tackling tooling-related challenges. You will work hand-in-hand with senior engineers to optimize production methods and adapt Ergonomic requirements. Key skills such as problem-solving and effective communication will play a vital role in your daily tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
• Partner with support staff to resolve manufacturing issues
• Participate in Advance Quality Planning (AQP)
• Address process scrap issues proactively
• Assist in new product and process introductions
• Update tool lists and setup instructions
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent experience
• Required Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) licensing
• Familiarity with AutoCAD and CAD/CAM software
• Strong teamwork and attention to accuracy
• Excellent communication skills for technical concepts
