Engineering Technologist

Position: Engineering Technologist Role

As an Engineering Technologist, you will apply engineering principles within the Planned Capital department. Responsibilities include performing load analysis and forecasting future demands while ensuring designs meet regulatory standards. Collaboration with internal and external stakeholders is key to ensuring timely electrical service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct load flow analysis for the distribution system

• Prepare designs and cost estimates for upgrades

• Coordinate customer connection agreements

• Inspect construction work for compliance

• Support on-call duties and respond to field inspections

Requirements:

• Degree in Engineering Technology with a focus on Electrical or Civil

• At least 5 years of relevant experience

• Specialized knowledge of engineering concepts

• Ability to make independent decisions

• Valid class G driver’s licence
