Intermediate Design Engineer at Linamar

Join Linamar as an Intermediate Design Engineer, focusing on manufacturing process design and improvement within an industrial plant. Collaborate with engineers to enhance production methods and capacity management.

In this full-time role based in Guelph, Ontario, you will assist in planning complex manufacturing processes and collaborate with senior engineers. Your responsibilities involve resolving tooling issues, defining ergonomic plant layouts, and supporting Advance Quality Planning (AQP) activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with manufacturing to resolve tooling issues

• Define plant layout and ergonomic requirements

• Identify and address process scrap issues

• Update tooling lists and work instructions

• Support FMEA and corrective action development

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or technology diploma

• Licensed Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) or equivalent

• Proficient in AutoCAD, Excel, Word, and CAD/CAM software

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication ability in technical contexts
