Elevate your career as an Intermediate Engineer at Linamar, specializing in manufacturing design and validation. Play a pivotal role in enhancing production processes and ensuring efficient operations.
In this position, you'll collaborate closely with senior engineers to assist in designing superior manufacturing processes. You'll handle tooling issues, participate in Advance Quality Planning, and introduce new products while ensuring conformity with ergonomic standards and production efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
• Address tooling-related issues with the manufacturing team
• Define layout and ergonomic requirements for the facility
• Identify and implement solutions for scrap reduction
• Engage in the introduction of new processes and products
• Maintain documentation for tools and setup instructions
Requirements:
• Engineering degree or substantial related work experience
• Required licensing as a professional engineer (P.Eng.)
• Adept in AutoCAD, Excel, and CAD/CAM tools
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Vigilant attention to detail and project accuracy
