What You’ll Do- Develop monitoring tools for our portfolios, analyze results, identify trends, and deliver actionable insights.
- Collaborate with business partners to support profitability analysis, communicate key findings, and influence action.
- Seek emerging techniques and methodologies, developing innovative solutions to complex problems.
- Leverage predictive and prescriptive analytics to understand and forecast the impact of initiatives and identify profitability concerns.
- Lead and execute medium‑to‑large sized projects, defining project plans, coaching team members on technical and modeling topics, and promoting team involvement.
- Innovative mindset to improve operational efficiencies and influence change, focusing on client needs.
- Critical thinking skills to recognize assumptions, evaluate arguments, draw conclusions, and proactively propose solutions.
- Strong communication skills to clearly convey messages and explore diverse points of view.
- Ability to build trusting relationships and provide guidance to support colleague development.
- Post‑secondary degree in Mathematics, Actuarial Science or related discipline.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in the Property and Casualty field.
- Advanced knowledge of modeling processes, modeling software, and actuarial concepts.
- Working toward or holding ACAS or FCAS designations is an asset.
- Primarily works with majority non‑Francophone groups; proficiency in English required. Essential non‑French duties are not assignable to adjacent or other team members.
