We are seeking a highly motivated and detailed oriented Associate to join our team. Reporting to the Senior Director, Investment Counsel Services
- Private Wealth, you will be responsible for supporting Addenda Private Wealth Investment Counsellors in delivering exceptional client service acting as their primary point of contact for all concerns pertaining to client accounts. This role is ideal for a professional with a strong interest in sustainable finance and a passion for client-centric investment management.
- Support the end-to-end administration of client accounts, including account openings, transfers, maintenance and documentation
- Ensure client records and transactions are accurate, complete and compliant with regulatory requirements
- Manage client reporting and client portal distribution and setup
- Monitor client portfolios relative to targets, asset allocation guidelines and model portfolios
- Prepare trade analysis and rebalance recommendations to bring portfolios back in line with investment strategy
- Support trade execution and review settlement and funding to ensure accurate and timely implementation
- Identify and investigate pricing or performance discrepancies to ensure client reporting is accurate
- Act as a liaison with custodian and internal teams on client requests
- Undergraduate university degree in Finance
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role in the financial services industry (direct experience in Private Wealth is an asset)
- High-level of proficiency with Office Suite programs including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Proven ability to develop long-lasting, trusted relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- You have refined verbal and written communication skills and a sophisticated understanding of client service;
- You are a motivated and disciplined sales professional who takes initiative and always strives to contribute to exceeding sales objectives;
- You have a natural aptitude for teamwork and collaboration, as well as a proven coachability.
The base salary range for this role is CAD 64,000.00 – 96,000.00 in addition to bonus, health or benefits, and any other discretionary benefits offered base salary ranges are based on role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by the skills, experience, internal equity and impact you bring to the role. Our talent acquisition advisors can share more during the hiring process.
