Purpose and ImpactAt Sleeman Breweries, quality and innovation are at the heart of everything we do. As Senior Financial Analyst, you will provide regional leadership for financial analysis, planning and forecasting, support sound financial decision-making, and provide financial expertise to the regional leadership team.
ResponsibilitiesFinancial Analysis & Decision Support
- Prepare monthly financial statement analysis and commentary, including analysis of business volume, net revenue, cost of goods sold (COGS), and departmental expenses.
- Provide financial analysis and actionable recommendations to business leaders to improve financial results.
- Develop financial models and analyses to identify profitability opportunities and understand key business drivers.
- Prepare regional gross margin analysis and provide decision support for new product introductions and pricing changes.
- Evaluate manufacturing standard costs and perform monthly variance analysis.
- Lead regional margin analysis by customer and SKU, partnering with regional stakeholders for input.
- Monitor industry trends and competitive data, identify impacts on the business, and recommend appropriate actions.
- Provide ad hoc reporting, financial modelling, and analysis to senior management as required.
- Lead the annual regional budgeting process and work with stakeholders to maintain and adjust budgets throughout the year.
- Lead the annual regional standard costing process.
- Lead the preparation and analysis of the monthly regional financial forecast, develop recommendations, and present findings to the national management team.
- Lead the regional implementation of new business analytical tools and support national projects as required.
- Lead the regional strategic business planning process and support special projects.
- Recommend improvements to internal processes and business strategies.
- Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives for forecasting, budgeting, strategic planning, reporting, and related financial processes.
