Caressant Care is hiring a dynamic Activity Aide to promote resident engagement in long-term care. With a focus on recreational activities, you'll help enhance the quality of life for our residents while working in a supportive team setting.
The right candidate will be skilled in communication and possess a background in recreation or gerontology.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and execute resident-centered recreational activities
• Encourage resident participation and engagement
• Collaborate with care teams to improve service delivery
• Maintain a friendly and safe environment during programs
• Document activity outcomes and resident feedback
Requirements:
• Diploma or certificate in a relevant field from Ontario
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of Long-Term Care best practices
• Leadership and organizational skills
• Punctual, reliable, and compassionate approach
