At Riverside Glen, we're on the lookout for a dedicated Recreation Team Member. Ideal candidates should have a diploma or degree in recreation studies or gerontology and a passion for fostering positive relationships with residents.

Your role is pivotal in implementing resident-centered activities and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to enhance the quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and implement engaging recreational programs

• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team

• Foster strong relationships with residents and families

• Embrace a resident-centered social culture

• Display a caring attitude towards residents and staff

Requirements:

• Diploma or degree in recreation or gerontology

• Knowledge of therapeutic recreation and its domains

• Understanding of Long-Term Care Homes Act, 2007

• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends

• Commitment to a person-centered care approach
