Stonehenge Peer Support Specialist

Working closely within an interdisciplinary team, your lived experience will guide clients toward their wellness goals and life skills development. Your responsibilities will also include ensuring a safe crisis environment and being available for on-call support during evenings and weekends. Your insights can make a real difference in the lives of participants navigating their challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

• Engage with participants through lived experience sharing

• Facilitate education and support groups

• Assist in crisis management and treatment planning

• Monitor client well-being and offer transportation support

• Participate in ongoing program development and evaluation

Requirements:

• Lived experience of addiction and mental health recovery

• Relevant post-secondary education

• Experience in peer support and crisis intervention

• Vulnerable Sector Screening required

• Reliable transportation with necessary insurance
