Join West Parry Sound Health Centre as a Laboratory Technologist, located in the beautiful Georgian Bay area.
This role offers an opportunity to thrive in a state-of-the-art healthcare facility.
As a registered technologist, you’ll be integral to the laboratory team, responsible for the performance and interpretation of critical diagnostic tests. Ideal candidates will have extensive experience in histopathology and immunochemistry, and possess effective communication skills to excel in this interdisciplinary setting.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct and interpret laboratory tests for diagnostics
• Collaborate with medical professionals to ensure accuracy
• Maintain laboratory quality assurance standards
• Adapt to various shifts, including weekends
• Demonstrate outstanding attendance and work performance
Requirements:
• CMLTO registration mandatory
• 3-5 years recent histopathology experience
• 3-5 years immunochemistry background
• Strong organizational and time management abilities
• Competence in laboratory software applications
