About the role:

The Hospital strives to deliver care that is centred on patient sand families. Patient and Family Centred Care (PFCC)

is the provision of care that is respectful of, and responsive to individual patient/family preferences, needs, and values

and ensures that those values guide all decisions. Creating acaring environment for patients and families ensures

continuity of care and fosters a learning environment. Applicants are required to have a demonstrated knowledge,

understanding and commitment to this care philosophy.

Reporting to the Manager, Stroke, Neurology, Cardiac Diagnostics& Cardiac Rehab, the Cardio Technician ‑ ECG is

responsible for completing Electrocardiograms (ECG's) for both inpatients and outpatients in all areas of the hospital.

EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS:

Education/

Experience:
  • Current certification in BCLS
Skills/Abilities:
  • Demonstrated regular attendance
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills (electronic, oraland written)
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in an interprofessional team environment
  • Demonstrated computer literacy with Electronic Medical Records(Meditech) and PACS applications including GE
  • MUSE.
  • Demonstrated cultural sensitivity and awareness.
  • Excellent problem solving, decision making, and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
Assets:
  • Additional education in Cardiology or medical field

Salary Range: $32.590 to 37.260
