In this live-in role with Qualicare, you will serve as a Personal Support Worker, supervised by the Care Coordinator, to cater to the personal care needs of clients. Your compassionate nature and reliable approach will help improve their quality of life, especially for those facing age-related challenges or medical illnesses.
Key Responsibilities:
• Facilitate client transfers safely to and from wheelchair
• Offer personal hygiene and care assistance daily
• Prepare nutritious meals based on client needs
• Handle light housekeeping tasks for cleanliness
• Assist clients with medication reminders
Requirements:
• Personal Support Worker Certificate or equivalent experience
• Current CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain
• Negative TB skin test or chest x-ray
• Access to a mobile phone and Internet is necessary
