The Opportunity

We are a leading Canadian financial services co‑operative committed to sustainability and resilience. Our Digital & Advisor Technology team uses state‑of‑the‑art technology and practices to deliver a digital enterprise that stands out. Reporting to the VP, Channels & Emerging Business Models (EBM) Technology, the AVP, Retail Sales & Service (Salesforce) Technology Platforms works with stakeholders to design and leverage next‑generation assisted channel technology solutions (e.g., Salesforce) that support the organization’s growth strategy.

How

You Will Create Impact
  • Identify and lead initiatives that enhance service, reduce costs and remove blockers, including technical opportunities to improve processes, delivery, and usability.
  • Support development of the RSS technology roadmap from strategy through delivery and maintenance of technologies such as Salesforce, leveraging AI to advance productivity and outcomes.
  • Lead an RSS Technology organization that delivers timely, cost‑effective solutions; oversee operations, end‑user availability, performance, security, application currency and regulatory compliance.
  • Oversee a portfolio of projects and programs, ensuring delivery of technical solutions that meet business strategic and tactical needs.
  • Conduct vendor research and vetting, ensuring purchases or partnerships meet business requirements and internal technology standards.
  • Empower teams with an internal development excellence mindset for application upgrades and new application development to meet partner needs.
  • Collaborate with Retail Sales & Service, Omni‑channel and other stakeholders to define business plans and develop advanced technology solutions supporting growth objectives.
  • Maintain strategic relationships with vendors and external partners, managing negotiations, contracts, SLAs and controls for compliance with risk, security and guidelines.
  • Manage financial and business performance, setting department goals, KPIs and targets.
  • Engage and coach your team to deliver strategic objectives, developing emerging talent and fostering an innovative, collaborative, agile culture.

To Join Our Team
  • 10+ years of progressive, related experience, including multiple years across the plan‑build‑run technology spectrum.
  • Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field.
  • Experience with client‑facing large‑package software solutions;
    Salesforce experience and AI adoption (e.g., Salesforce Agent Force) is an asset.
  • Demonstrated leadership of planning and execution of complex technology projects or initiatives.
  • Collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, including vendor relationship management and contract negotiations.
  • Financial acumen to interpret and make decisions impacting projects and technology operations.
  • Experience in financial services and/or insurance; understanding of omni‑channel technology solutions is an asset.
  • Experienced people leader capable of leading sizable teams to solve complex problems in an innovative, collaborative environment.
