Junior Desktop Support Technician

As a Junior Technician, your role includes maintaining the operating system environment, managing server setups, and performing proactive data backups. You will also apply your skills in troubleshooting desktop issues and coordinating hardware and software purchases per IT standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain workstation and server administration setup
• Troubleshoot desktop problems and provide solutions
• Coordinate software and hardware inventory management
• Prepare and analyze work support service reports
• Administer local phone and unique system operations
Requirements:
• Post-secondary education in Computer Science preferred
• MCP certification considered an asset
• Knowledge of Windows Desktop OS and Microsoft Office
• Working knowledge of data communications troubleshooting
• Strong comprehension and interpersonal skills
