Senior Network Administrator

Agricorp is looking for a Senior Network Administrator to join our Network & Infrastructure Services Team in the Information Technology division. The network & infrastructure team is responsible for providing the appropriate computer networking infrastructure to support Agricorp’s strategic direction.

• Plan, implement, operate, and maintain all end client systems, servers, and network infrastructure as well as all telecommunication systems within Agricorp.
• Support broader long‑term results within the network systems and servers by ensuring the availability and integrity of desktops and networks across Agricorp.
• Provide complex network support and resolution.
• Maintain existing network infrastructure, including network and desktop software upgrades, patch management and troubleshooting, system backups and testing.
• Provide timely support to Network Administrator and Help Desk teams with software/hardware related solutions and client data restorations.
• Collaborate with database administrators, mainframe operator, and security administrator to determine server security needs for end users.
• Provide support for enterprise telephony infrastructure.
• Manage software licenses and renewals.
• Assist in disaster recovery preparations and tests.
• Establish and maintain strong working relationships with all levels of staff and management within the division, across Agricorp, demonstrating core qualities while representing the CNS team.
• Resolve inquiries or requests from internal/external parties with a view to demonstrate service excellence to mitigate interruptions of service/systems.
• Participate in the ‘on‑call’ service to ensure ongoing, 24‑hour customer support.

• 3‑year college diploma with a focus on IT technology.
• Proven experience with end desktops, servers, and networked computing environments.
• 5 – 7 years of technical experience in computer networking.
• 3 – 5 years of customer service experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft Outlook, networking switches and devices, SAN architecture, HP Servers and Windows 2008‑12 platforms, Virtualization – Hyper V & VMware.

Job status:
Permanent. Salary: $73,912 per year – $86,955 per year. Work status:
Full time in office.
