Position: Director of Application Services at OCAS
Lead strategic and technical initiatives as the Director of Application Services pe the future of our core application platform from Guelph with a focus on innovation and user experience.

In this critical senior role, you will manage two essential product areas:
Application Experience and Core Systems. Collaborating closely with the Vice President of Application Services, your responsibilities include setting product strategies, creating multi-year roadmaps, and overseeing core system architecture. You’ll also mentor a multidisciplinary team while ensuring secure and accessible outcomes in a hybrid work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and evolve product and technology strategies

• Create user-centered design roadmaps for product development

• Oversee strategic applicant and college-facing experiences

• Foster innovation and platform reliability through modern architecture

• Manage budget, capacity planning, and operational readiness

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field

• 10–15 years leading software/platform development

• 5+ years in strategic roles with complex stakeholders

• Proven success in transformation initiatives

• Strong knowledge of cloud technologies and enterprise systems
