About the RoleBuchanan Technologies is seeking an experienced Senior Oracle Support Consultant / Architect to join our Oracle Applications support team. This role will support a growing workload across our Oracle practice and will be focused on delivering high-quality third-party Oracle support for multiple clients.
The ideal candidate will have deep Oracle Applications experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and a proven background working in a multi-client, third-party support environment. This is a senior-level role requiring both hands‑on technical expertise and the ability to work directly with internal teams and clients to resolve complex issues.
Key Responsibilities- Provide senior‑level support for Oracle Applications in a third‑party support setting.
- Support multiple client environments, balancing priorities and service expectations across accounts.
- Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve complex Oracle application and technical issues.
- Support Oracle Demantra, Oracle Configurator, and related integrations.
- Assist with Demantra and VCP integration boundary issues, including triage, root‑cause analysis, and resolution.
- Perform Oracle performance tuning and identify opportunities to improve system stability and efficiency.
- Collaborate with functional, technical, and architecture teams to support ongoing client needs.
- Document issues, resolutions, and recommended improvements.
- Provide guidance to other team members and contribute to knowledge sharing across the Oracle practice.
- Support workload transition and coverage needs as the team expands.
- 5+ years of experience in a multi‑client, third‑party Oracle support practice.
- Strong experience supporting Oracle Applications in a production support environment.
- Hands‑on experience with Oracle Demantra.
- Experience with Oracle Configurator.
- Understanding of Demantra and VCP integration points and boundary issues.
- Strong troubleshooting and root‑cause analysis skills.
- Experience with Oracle performance tuning and technical issue resolution.
- Ability to work across multiple client environments and prioritize urgent support needs.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate with technical teams, business stakeholders, and client contacts.
- Senior Oracle Architect, Senior Oracle Consultant, or Lead Oracle Support experience.
- Experience supporting Oracle E‑Business Suite environments.
- Familiarity with supply chain planning, demand planning, or advanced planning environments.
- Experience working in managed services, consulting, or third‑party application support organizations.
- Ability to mentor junior team members and provide technical leadership.
The ideal candidate is a senior Oracle skilled who is comfortable operating in a fast‑paced support environment, can quickly assess complex issues, and has the experience to support multiple clients with minimal ramp‑up time. This person should be proactive, collaborative, technically strong, and able to help stabilize and expand Oracle support coverage for the team.
