OCAS seeks a Senior Application Services Director to provide technical leadership and strategy for our application platform. This hybrid position in Guelph encourages innovation while enhancing user experiences.
As a pivotal leader, you will guide both Application Experience and Core Systems teams, shaping product direction with a focus on modernization and user-centered design. You’ll collaborate with the Vice President, engage with stakeholders, and mentor a talented team to drive high performance.
Your role will impact the operational readiness and strategic oversight of core systems that support both applicants and colleges.
Key Responsibilities:
• Set product and technology strategy alongside executives
• Design multi-year user-centered roadmaps and initiatives
• Champion innovation in modern platform architecture
• Build relationships across teams and with public colleges
• Supervise budget management and operational processes
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent
• 10-15 years managing application development
• 5+ years of experience in strategic leadership
• Expertise in software architecture and integration
• Strong decision-making and stakeholder engagement skills
