In this key role, you will leverage your expertise to lead data-driven projects from inception through implementation. Your strong knowledge in life insurance underwriting, statistical modeling, and machine learning will be critical in developing innovative solutions. You'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure analytical models are impactful and aligned with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Identify and prioritize data science opportunities with stakeholders
• Lead projects from problem definition to model enhancement
• Develop and evaluate statistical and machine‑learning models
• Analyze large datasets to uncover insights
• Monitor and improve model performance over time
Requirements:
• Advanced degree in relevant quantitative field
• 8 years’ experience in statistics or machine learning
• Proficiency in Python, R, and SQL
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Experience in life insurance underwriting preferred
