Position: Analytical Buyer Role at Linamar
Become a Buyer at Linamar and take charge of sourcing initiatives. Oversee supplier negotiations, analyze quotes, and play a pivotal role in our purchasing department.

As a Buyer, you will be responsible for managing suppliers and ensuring that all quotes are assessed for quality and cost-effectiveness. This role involves collaborating with Commodity Leads and pursuing continuous improvement in procurement strategies. Your analytical skills will be key in making informed recommendations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate part prints and specifications for sourcing

• Issue and track supplier quotations

• Negotiate terms for optimal supplier deals

• Follow purchasing procedures for materials

• Maintain records and assist in cost goals

Requirements:

• Post-secondary education in relevant fields

• Certification in purchasing may be required

• Highly analytical and flexible

• Advanced knowledge of Excel and similar tools

• Strong organization and teamwork abilities
