Position: Shearer's Foods Buyer/Material Planner

In this Monday to Friday role, you'll collaborate closely with teams in Customer Service, Production, and Quality. Your primary focus will be issuing purchase orders and assessing demand schedules to maintain efficient supplier relationships. A minimum of 5 years of experience and strong negotiation skills will help ensure your success in this position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Issue and track purchase orders in an ERP/MRP environment

• Build relationships with suppliers and internal functions

• Communicate demand schedules and escalate vendor risks

• Seek opportunities for cost savings and efficiency

• Manage inventory levels in line with customer service

Requirements:

• Degree in Supply Chain Management or related field

• 5+ years in purchasing and forecasting

• Strong communication and negotiation abilities

• Experience with ERP/MRP systems

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Power Point
