Position: Supply Chain Material Planner at Shearer's Foods
Become a Supply Chain Material Planner at Shearer's Foods in Massillon, OH. This dynamic role combines procurement, supplier management, and inventory control within a leading food manufacturer.

You will report to the Supply Chain Manager and work collaboratively with Scheduling, Production, and Quality teams as well as suppliers. Your responsibilities include preparing and monitoring purchase orders and optimizing inventory levels while managing supplier relationships. Candidates should have a solid background in purchasing with 5+ years of experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and oversee purchase orders in ERP/MRP

• Develop supplier relationships and manage communication

• Forecast demand and manage risks with vendors

• Minimize inventory while ensuring service quality

• Oversee and resolve freight and invoice discrepancies

Requirements:

• 3-year degree or diploma in Supply Chain Management

• At least 5 years in purchasing and inventory planning

• Strong negotiation and analytical skills

• Proficient with ERP/MRP systems

• Excellent organizational and communication skills
