Supply Chain Specialist at Gateway Services

Join Gateway Services as a Purchasing & Inventory Control Specialist and enhance operations within our supply chain. Focus on optimizing inventory management and supplier relationships.

As part of the operations department on a 12-month contract, you will be responsible for ensuring that our facilities are stocked and ready to provide excellent care for pets.

Your role encompasses coordinating purchase orders, monitoring inventory levels, and addressing discrepancies efficiently. Strong problem-solving skills are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage purchase orders and maintain accurate records

• Liaise with suppliers regarding shipping and product availability

• Track inventory metrics and place orders proactively

• Ensure proper handling of discrepancies and product receipt

• Support training on Net Suite for various facilities

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in purchasing or inventory control

• Proficient in data management and reporting

• Strong organizational and time-management skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities

• Experience with ERP or similar systems is a plus
