University Procurement Training Lead

Drive system excellence at the University of Guelph as a Procurement Systems and Training Specialist. Lead the deployment and support of procurement technologies for the university.

This position reports to the Manager of Strategic Sourcing and focuses on user adoption and training for Oracle Purchasing and Bonfire e-procurement systems. You will develop training materials and create engaging user experiences that facilitate compliance and operational effectiveness. Your work will be pivotal in ensuring staff are equipped to leverage procurement tools effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer enterprise systems including Bonfire and Oracle Purchasing

• Create and implement engaging training programs

• Develop documentation and user aids for procurement staff

• Manage SharePoint site content and structure

• Advise on compliance with university procurement policies

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in related fields

• 3-6 years of procurement training experience

• Strong communication and relationship-building skills

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities

• Commitment to continuous improvement and service quality
