Position: Lead Maintenance Supervisor at Gay Lea Foods
Join Gay Lea Foods as a Lead Maintenance Supervisor, responsible for safe operations and electromechanical repairs. Oversee a dynamic team and enhance maintenance processes in a full-time role.

In this critical position, you will report to the Maintenance Manager while leading the maintenance team in scheduling and preventative maintenance. Your key focus will be improving operation efficiencies and cultivating a culture centered on safety and open communication. Collaborating with management on capital projects is also vital.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead maintenance staff in scheduling and equipment operation

• Enhance and maintain preventative and predictive maintenance systems

• Identify and recommend opportunities for continuous improvement

• Promote a safety-focused culture in the workplace

• Assist with inventory control alongside the Maintenance Coordinator

Requirements:

• Millwright Certificate or Electrician License

• Minimum of 5 years in supervisory roles, preferably in dairy

• Experience with MP2 and Microsoft Office Suite

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities

• Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends
