Under the supervision of the Maintenance Operations Supervisor, you will be responsible for everyday maintenance activities and compliance with safety standards. This includes directing work orders, inspecting units, and maintaining accurate records of services. A solid background in building science and maintenance is critical.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure daily maintenance for diverse rental units
• Handle tenant maintenance requests and issue orders
• Conduct inspections for move-outs and capital projects
• Support enforcement of property maintenance standards
• Monitor budgets and operational expenses
Requirements:
• High school diploma with additional training in maintenance
• Over one year of related experience in maintenance
• Understanding of Ontario Building Code and housing acts
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle
Drive property maintenance efficiency and quality assurance for residents in Guelph.
