Position: Lead Maintenance Manager at Nexans
Join Nexans in Fergus as a Maintenance Manager, driving machinery performance and safety compliance. Focus on budget management and lead the maintenance team to continuous improvements.

As the Lead Manager for the Fergus Maintenance Department, you will manage day-to-day operations ensuring machinery operates perfectly to meet production needs. You will direct initiatives for cost control, foster a positive team environment, and maintain equipment calibrations. Working closely with management, you will report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and maintain regulatory compliance in Health and Safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead maintenance management and strategies for continuous improvement

• Control maintenance costs and develop expense reduction measures

• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards

• Collaborate across plant functions for operational effectiveness

• Identify staff training needs and maintain morale

Requirements:

• University degree in Engineering with over 5 years' experience

• Proven troubleshooting skills in mechanical and electrical areas

• Strong communication and leadership capabilities

• Experience with SAP, Excel, and CAD software

• Commitment to safety and team success
