The successful candidate will support the Culture and Recreation Department for a temporary position, ensuring high maintenance standards across community centers, aquatics, and multi-purpose spaces. Key skills include facility operations experience, equipment usage such as ice resurfacing, and adherence to health and safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct ice plant and aquatic center repairs
• Perform regular cleaning and maintenance tasks
• Respond to immediate cleaning requests
• Maintain safety and cleanliness standards
• Communicate effectively with facility users
Requirements:
• Grade 12 diploma and one year experience in recreation
• Certified Pool Operator Certificate within 6 months
• Class G license with a clean driving record
• Basic Refrigeration Certificate within 6 months
• First Aid/CPR Certificate required
