Maintain healthcare spaces with careful cleaning, safety awareness, and attention to detail across five Guelph Community Health Centre sites. This is relief work with variable hours as needed.
As a Cleaner on the Operations Team, you will maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of the Guelph CHC building and tenant spaces. You will work with cleaning colleagues, CHC staff, and the facilities supervisor. The work supports a welcoming environment for clients, staff, tenants, and the community.
Key Responsibilities:- Follow strict standards for safety and cleanliness
- Coordinate schedules, priorities, and cleaning tasks with colleagues
- Complete deep cleaning and special projects
- Notify the facilities supervisor about deficiencies and repair needs
- Support satisfactory cleaning for staff, clients, and building guests
- Three-plus years of cleaning experience in a healthcare setting
- Knowledge of standard operating procedures for cleaning
- Experience with biological hazards and personal protective equipment
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and travel between five locations
- Flexibility, integrity, organization, and attention to detail
