Facility maintenance and public-area cleanliness define this full-time Day Porter role with GDI, Monday to Friday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. Support daily customer facility needs through cleaning, inspections, and supply restocking.
GDI provides integrated facility maintenance services across the United States and Canada. This Day Porter position keeps facilities neat and presentable by completing general cleaning, trash removal, and assigned maintenance tasks. The work requires attention to detail, independent judgment, and responsiveness to customer requests.
Key Responsibilities:- Clean washrooms, entrances, splits, and assigned facility areas
- Collect garbage, pick up trash, sweep, and mop
- Inspect public areas continuously throughout each day
- Remove litter and damp mop spillages promptly
- Complete work orders and other assigned cleaning tasks
- Previous sanitation, housekeeping, or cleaning experience preferred
- Ability to work effectively with other crew members
- Ability to follow supervisor instructions and customer requests
- Excellent attention to detail and high integrity
- Ability to work independently and pass a Criminal Background Check
