Qualifications- $31.00 - $34.47 per hour
- Two‑year Automation and Robotics certificate required.
- Minimum 3 - 5 years of related work experience with automated spray equipment and robots required.
- Requires knowledge of paint materials, paint delivery systems, mechanical equipment, and down draft paint applications.
- Excellent communication skills (English – spoken and written).
- Proven critical thinking, problem solving and analytical skills.
- Computer literate (MS Office).
- Troubleshoot and maintain paint machinery and equipment, including calibration of bell applicators.
- Implement preventative maintenance as required.
- Observe & support production line robots, and relay observations to the application team.
- Review robot movement and paint delivery parameters to improve painted part quality and paint consumption.
- Conduct root cause analysis and support the paint application team in making improvements to paint quality.
- Reset robotic failures, KV, Flow & Limits (document all failures).
- Ensure long‑term improvements to yield, customer concerns, warranty concerns & related costs.
- Review production pareto for application defects & equipment downtime issues.
- Work with maintenance on spray equipment, robot control problems and continuous improvements.
- Test and evaluate new products and equipment.
- Participate in production, yield and utilization meetings.
- Perform all job functions in a safe, healthful, and environmentally conscious manner, abiding by all health, safety and environmental rules and regulations as outlined in the company handbook.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
