Forklift Driver & Material Handler

Position: Forklift Driver & Material Handler Role
Become a key player at Linamar as a Material Handler, operating forklifts to manage the movement of materials. This rewarding position focuses on efficiency and organization in the facility's operations.

As a Material Handler at Linamar, you'll support the receiving of materials and shipping of finished goods. Your responsibilities will include operating forklifts safely, inspecting equipment, and ensuring all areas are tidy and organized. Strong communication skills are essential for coordinating tasks with team members.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate forklifts to transport materials safely

• Count, weigh, and sort materials as required

• Maintain organization in receiving and shipping areas

• Document all shipping and receiving activities

• Assist with inventory tasks and minor repairs

Requirements:

• Some high school education or equivalent

• Licensed to operate forklifts (Class 2, 3, or
4)

• Possible TDG certification needed

• Ability to measure and estimate weights accurately

• Capacity to work both independently and within a team
